Graduation Party for 3

My friends Daughter celebrated her high school graduation with 2 other girls.  We made a tier for each girl and used gumballs as the border.

Baby boy shower cake

This baby shower cake was made out of buttercream with the fondant baby and star accents.

Lizzy's Slumber Birthday Party

Sheet cake using buttercream.  I made each girl attending the party in a sleeping back listening to stories being told by my other daughter and her 2 friends.  I tried to make each girl look like the actual child using fondant by making the hair similar to the actual child.

Alie's Night at the Movies Birthday Party

Cake made with Buttercrea for both tiers.  The stripes on the popcorn box are fruit by the foot.  The Popcorn is actually a large popcorn ball and the remaining accents are fondant.

First Wedding Cake - Theresa and Brad's wedding

Buttercream with fondant accents.  Used real flowers and made a base for the stand.

Cake Girl

I started my cake journey, January of 2009.  It was never intended to become one of my favorite hobbies.   It started because my 11 year old daughter really wanted to take a class with me.  One thing lead to another and I continued with the classes.  After 2 months of classes and some courage I volunteered to make my nieces wedding cake for a May wedding.  I figured that I had plenty of time to practice.  I continue to make cakes for family and friends and really enjoy this new found passion.
